I just found this nice pic of me on a trip to one of our favorite camping spots,
Red Rock Canyon.
Check out that old Disneyland Passholder Hat, that baby is long gone.
So, I think Thursdays are going to be Bathroom Sign photos.
I will let you guess first, and then you can click the links to find out the locations of these signs.

So, were do I live? Well, NoHo or
North Hollywood to all of you non-locals. Here is a fun picture of the Glendale, Burbank, NoHo area. The arrow points in the general direction of were we live.
I had always heard of the "
Hope Diamond" and never really carried much about seeing it, until I actually saw it. Wow, that thing is damn huge for a diamond. I still don't really care, but thought if you had never seen what it looks like you might be interested, so there it is, plus the crazy setting it's in with like 9,000 smaller diamonds.
If you want to steel this baby, the place to head is The Smithsonian
Natural History Museum in DC.
I was hoping they had a gift shop, but alas no whyy gift shop. I totally wanted to get some Fresh Air souvenirs while in Philly. Why you ask? I really have no idea why I need souvenirs of stuff I visit, but for some strange reason I have to keep collecting stuff. It's actually for the best that they didn't have a gift shop for this very reason.
If you are not familiar with Fresh Air, well you should be. It's on daily on NPR. Hosted by
Terry Gross. She is an amazing interviewer and the topics range from Political to Entertainment and Pop Culture. All the stuff I like to hear about. The best part is now if
iTunes you can subscribe to the podcast and listen to the show whenever you like.
Enough rambling, go check it out.

Back in July, eleven, 7-11s became Kwik-E-Marts from The Simpsons. Here is a pic of me with Ralph. It kind of looks like he is checking out my chest.
The stores were only open for 1 month and have now closed, sadly. They usually had a line, we waited 10 mins to get into the one in Burbank. They do still have most of the special stuff however at all 7-11s in the US, Buzz Cola, Krusti-Os and of course slurpies. (No Duff however, PG-13 movie and all).
Here's a link talking about the
sprinkle donuts they had.... Probably the worst donuts I have ever eating by the way. Nothing but sugar. Glazed and frosted and sprinkled. NASTY.
Yum, yum. BBQ is one of my favorite food groups. Those ribs and beef brisket were totally awesome.
Joey and I did share this by the way. I'm not really that big of a piggy.
And the location:
Dave's Famous BBQ in the lovely
Mall of America. My first visit to both places, but hopefully not my last. Joe and I spent an entire day at the Mall of America and didn't even have time to go on any of the rides. That place is huge.
I have decided that my new passion shall be, bathroom sign photography. O' what a life it should be... 100s of 10s of signs, even more locations. I should never not find signs to photograph.
Here's just two to wet your appetite. I will leave it to you to guess the locations I found these. If only I had named them with files names that would tell you the answer. If only you could click on them to find out. Damn.
Expect more of these babies as time goes by, I have 10s of 5s more were those came from.
Or, here are some links to the places:

The Preamble of the US Constitution done in all 50 State's Licenses Plates. (Click for bigger picture.) I found this fun and interesting among the many amazing art pieces at the Smithsonian
National Portrait Gallery in Washington DC. This is only 1 of the probably 100 amazing things I enjoyed at this Museum. This place is not to be missed in DC.
I'm not sure what the point of having a zero is, but in PA some roads have every 1/10 of a mile posted. You can look down the road and see 3 or 4 of these 10ths marked. Kind of strange. Tax dollars hard at work.
This photo is the first time I was ever officially at zero miles.
I'm sure you were, so here you go. It's my height if you stacked 100$ bills in a pile, I'm 1.7 Million Tall. Nice.
Plus, you can check out what a 100,000 bill looks like and who's on it?
Which is better? The age old question anyone who is from or visits Philadelphia. Geno's or Pats? They both make Cheese Steak Sandwichs, both are directly across the street from each other in South Philly, both are window service with outdoor dining areas, both claim to be the first Philadelphia Cheese Steak location in the world. But who is really better...
Well, actually both. Geno's has a better overall Cheese Steak, but Pat's has awesome Cheese Fries. Luckily you don't have to pick, you can have both since they are so close to each other.
Next time you are in the city of Brotherly Love, stop having the love for the brothers long enough to check out these two classic American food destinations for yourself.
